2025 has become so much more than even we dared to dream. It has always been about the cats for us, but along the way, we're also finding that we're making new friends and changing lives each time we meet someone new.

From Ralph, avid caregiver and rescuer of cats: "I know I can call them. They'll come. They don't quit."
From KQ: "Thank YOU! Hopefully they will all be in a better place...(through adoption after placement with a rescue)...and I am happy with how much your team put into this effort. Bless you for your work on behalf of all Lincoln's stray cats!"
From Kiki: "Thank you to The Purrpose for helping with the free neutering of Yellowstone (homeless cat that I've adopted) and for outdoor shelter they provided him to keep him warm, I'm forever grateful."
From Jakouri: "I'm currently pregnant, a single mom who has health issues. Samson is so important to us and now I can keep him and register him as my ESA. Thank you, so much!"
From Breelyn: "Mavis is the youngest, and [having help getting] her spayed helps me be able to pay my bills that I have now. And this will help me with my stress, as I do everything alone."
From Pat: "Felix followed us home one day! We can't keep him, but we want to make sure that he is fixed before we get him to a good home. Thanks for reaching out and offering to help!"
From Michael: "I'm glad we were able to talk/text and figure it out. I'm glad that you know that I can be a bit protective with my cats (yes, I consider them to be mine even though they aren't, but that's what it feels to me). I've only wanted what's best for them and sometimes I forget, although I believe I AM what's best for them, and I know that's not how it works.
Tell them, if I could keep them, I would. Tell them I'm sorry. I love them and miss them already."
~ From us to Michael - not once have we walked into a colony of cats, where a caretaker asked for help, have we believed that someone didn't care. It's our ability to keep caring after making the hard decisions, and working together to make the best decisions that we find our humanity and ability to give so many a better life. You did good, my new friend, you did good.
Christala was not long on this earth. In her time, she was named, loved and warm. We gave her everything we had, but she earned her wings later that night.
