Our Dreams & Vision
We believe that there should be other options than euthanasia for feral, unsocial, unadoptable cats. We will build the options, the safe place and the opportunity for the cats that need us most to live their best lives.
Most feral, stray, unsocial cats are used to the simpler things in life. However, when life happens and trauma occurs, they may not be able to survive in their original habitat. Creating a safe place, that feels like THEIR kind of PURRFECT is our dream. We know that not all of them will come around and be friendly, but what we can do is ensure that they are loved, cared for and treated humanely and with kindness. All spaces for cats at the Purrfect Place will be predator proof and have the most natural environment that they need.

A peaceful, safe place for cats that need a place to live out their lives in peace, when no other options are available.
While this is an image in our minds, its a dream that isn't unrealistic. Designed to be predator proof, but visitor friendly, cats deserve the zen that we can achieve for them.

The Nursery
Most of us that have been involved with cats found our first heartaches and most ameowzing achievements in the efforts of saving orphaned or abandoned kittens. The survival rate for these babies is less than 10% without intervention. We know we can't save them all, but we do want the opportunity to save more with a formal neonatal nursery.

A DifFURent Nursery
One of the greatest fears of all cat owners is that their cat will get into the wrong kind of plant. To help cat owners choose wisely, we want to have a specific, cat-safe plant nursery. Yes, we want free growing catnip and catmint everywhere! However, we also know that the purrfect plant for those caring cat people out there can make the most appreciated gift or souvenier!

A Space for Everything
We do such a variety of things that there is a never ending requirement of space. Our struggle sometimes is making sure that we can keep everything organized and sterilized. Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the environment that we will care for our cats is critical to their survival. Many of them will already be at risk and ensuring that we have everything they need is our goal.

Medical Center
Most of the cats that will come into our care will require some element of medical treatment. Additionally, we want to be a partner to other rescues and shelters in our area by providing a quarantine space that we can heal and treat cats with ringworm, lice, upper respiratory infections safely - so they can return to the shelters or rescues and move on to their most purrfect lives with humans.
