TNR, Spay/Neuter and Community Cat Management Support in Lincoln, NE
There is a solution. We believe we are a part of that. And so are YOU. Community cats are a part of OUR community and we believe they should be given the same care and respect as any cat. Education, action and partnerships are what we bring to the effort. Every day.
Humane Trapping
All volunteer trappers have completed the Community Cats Central TNR Certification program. Targeted trapping requires education, experience and ethics. For us, it's about the cats. Their safety and well-being is our priority.
Colony Containment
We can only stop overpopulation when we "contain" the colony. Every fertile cat in an area must be spayed/neutered to stop feline reproduction. That means we go back. We watch the field cams. Every single cat has that fancy ear tip. The goal? Stop the pattern.
Compassion Led
Every volunteer with The Purrpose shares the same passion - compassion for the cats. We have all been a part of rescue and we needed a path that we knew would make a difference. We lead with our hearts to give the cats a better life or outcome.
We're looking for a few good humans to help us help cats!
