In 2017 a silly cat showed up in the vent of a wall in the apartment where we were living. After 18 months, and on her second litter of kittens, we were able to capture her and bring her into our home. While she may have stayed, her kittens were the first foster kittens. From that point forward, we continued fostering on behalf of our local no-kill shelter. About 130 kittens into it, and becoming proficient with bottle babies, we recognized that the calling was much deeper and we needed to get to the root of WHY there was an endless need for foster families - and the unnecessary death of kittens.
As we've learned more, we can't forget the wonderful little lives that have come through our doors. Share our story through the lens of the love that we've fostered and been blessed with.
